The MCiRN (Midwest Clinical instruction Regional Network, www.mcirn.com), is excited to announce the launch of a FREE online nurse practitioner preceptor course designed to teach clinical skills and offers 7.5 hours of continuing education.

This self-paced Nurse Practitioner Preceptor Training Program is designed to support preceptors in teaching essential clinical skills specific to the nurse practitioner role:

· Obtaining a history and physical examination

· Diagnostic and therapeutic test ordering and interpreting

· Developing a differential diagnosis

· Formulating a management plan

· Time management skills

 

 

 

This course has been built in collaboration with national experts from John Hopkin’s University, University of Connecticut School of Nursing, Cizick School of Nursing at UT Health Houston, Boston Children’s Hospital, and many others!
